Gabbral
Gabbral (2286 meters) is located 128 K.M. to the North of Saidu Sharif and is accessible through a 24 kilometers long jeep road from Kalam. Since Gabbral is not on the main mass-tourist route of Swat Valley, it is still in somewhat pristine state and its quite and peaceful atmosphere, local mud houses blending in with the natural environment, is a pleasant contrast to the crowds of tourists and concrete buildings of Kalam. There are no hotels or rest houses in the area, therefore, the only option for those who want to stay for a night is to pitch their own tents. Jeeps for travel to Gabbral can be hired at Kalam.
